Setup CB on 2nd Gen

    I just bought a 2006 Tacoma to setup for overland travel and I'm ashamed to say although all my vehicles have had CBs before I've never been the one to set them up. I either bought the vehicle that way or a friend of mine who knows them really well did it for me however hes moved out west now.

    So I know i need a CB radio itself and I've picked out this one: Cobra 19 DX IV but I know I need an antenna and some sort of mounting system.

    I'm wondering what I need to buy and if I can even mount it where I want.(Behind the driver side on the front side of the bed between the cab and bed. I also have a bed cap)

    Anyone able to help? Do I need a roof mount because of the bed cap?(I hate roof mounts)
