There are so many options in car audio, so you typically get better responses if you propose equipment. The ensuing debate will help guide you.

that's too much of a vague questions, Try doing some research and narrow it down and we can give you a better opinion.

Double cab, access cab, single cab? If double cab, check out Sundown Audio. I have some stuff for sale from them, cause I'm going bigger, but I had two 10" shallow mount SD-2's and their 1500w SAZ-1500D amp running in 1 ohm mode. Bass was great. Hit 130's easily. Would definitely wake the neighbors, and make the rearview mirror useless while driving. Had them in a SuperCrewSound.com premade subbox. Each sub in their own .6cu.ft. enclosure. A little stuffing, and it would rock the truck. Amp mounted perfectly between the boxes, and never got too warm even. Only thing I would recommend, is taking the bars the seat backs lock onto, spacing them out about 3/8", just to give the amp a little breathing room. And take the plastic off the back of the seats, as there was a lot of buzzing with it on.

And get in on this GB, http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/group-buys/322087-gb-2-shok-industry-sound-deadener-v2.html
Sound deadener makes a world of difference in the sound of your truck.

Just copy mine. I just put on a second 10 today. There's nothing that can touch it without spending twice the money.

You don't have to pick the same sub's though.... 2 years later the surrounds are falling apart.
