Hey guys, so I've been looking into getting some aftermarket subs for my taco. So I went to the audio shop today for a quote because if I do it myself, I'll probably eff something up. So is $800 a good price for 2 12 inch Kicker subs, an amp, a sub box, a head unit, plus installation? Any input would be great! Sorry if this is in another thread, but I can't find it for the life of me. Thanks guys!

Just do it yourself, where in Texas are you? I would be willing to help. However 800 doesn't sound bad depending on what they are putting in there. If you could give us a break down of your components that the shop priced out for you we could get a better picture.

Ummm, what are the model #'s of the gear they are installing. You could probably get better gear by buying yourself, building a box yourself, or picking up one from SuperCrewSound.com, and get satisfaction for installing yourself.

Not exactly sure what components they're adding. I asked around to other people who have used the same people and they seem to be satisfied with them, so I'm just gonna go ahead and take the $800 plunge. Thanks guys
