    To start, I own a 2014 Tacoma Prerunner TRD-off-road V6 (not sr5)

I can not figure out how to check the gas mileage/ how much fuel I have left. When I go onto the touch screen there is no button for it. I checked the owners manual to see how to do it. And I am supposed to have a Maintenance and Navigation (or maps) app. But I don't have these. I'm not sure if something is wrong or I need sr5. What do I do?

I have the 2013 Limited and HATE that I do not have mile to empty. Add this to the list of features Toyota figures we don't want or need. I am guessing it would cost $50 for Toyota to add this at the factory, but nothing for us.

If you don't know that your gas tank is empty, you bought the wrong vehicle.

I get what you are saying here and apparently Toyota agrees with you. I still enjoy convenience features... like auto headlights (even though I know when it is dark out).

Can you not read a fuel gauge or trip odometer? I never used or trusted miles to empty on previous cars
