I'll give everyone as much of a slideshow of the progress as I possibly can. My buddy and I tend to go apeshit (work quickly) when we get on our "projects". I will try to slow the pace down enough to snap a few off though. I am gonna be installing the damping material tonight and will try to get a few " after" pics once I'm done. I'm doing this part by myself so I won't be doing any step by step stuff.

Final test fit before I start the sound deadening. I may not be able to get it all in tonight but hopefully I will finish it tomorrow before I start the electronics part. This is going to be absurd....lol.

Got the top row of back wall complete. I decided I'm going to lose the top plastic piece. It already rattles like crazy with 1 ten. Anyway, I got invited to a grill out tonight. Can't pass it up. Hitting the lake to fish in the morning then back on the truck around 11-12. More to come.

Side note: wear Mechanix gloves when you install this shit. I sliced two of my fingers. Rookie move. Still went HAM. Its easy to apply.

Sorry, had to edit and swap to IMG instead of direct link. Anyway, it's all in and sounds awesome. I'm on 4 hours of sleep and exhausted. I'll post all of the final pics tomorrow.

OK, so it all went in without too much trouble. I ran out of black ground wire so we had to substitute some of the extra power wire to finish it off. I also forgot to get connectors for the remote wire so we improvised with some electrical tape. I am going to come back and put a connector in later. I am pleased with everything. We spent about 6 hours on it. I was not expecting it to take nearly that long. Either way, there are a few things that need to be gone back over. I have to move the power block. We test fitted it with the cover off and no fuses (I chalk this up to being exhausted at this point) when we test fitted the seat for the final time. The seat ended up hitting it so we had to turn it sideways and move it as close to the front of the sub boxes as we could. I am going to relocate it as soon as I get some more 4 gauge. We were running on fumes and ready for it to be over. I have to replace the splitter for the HD-RLC. The one I picked up yesterday was defective. I picked the new one up this morning and I am going to slap it in later today. I took as many pics as I could and most of them just show us at stopping points. The amps ended up under both seats, as far to the back as possible, so they can be easily accessed.

Edit: For anyone interested in knowing, we used wood under the amps and D+G blocks and screwed them in through the carpet. It works great that way.

    Enjoy guys...

P.S. I slept for 12 hours and I am still exhausted. It was hot and humid as HELL in GA yesterday. I am thankful for good friends and especially my buddies Alan and Jonathan. I could not have finished it without their help.

Looks great. How's it sounding with everything back in the truck?

It sounds great. It needs some tuning and I need to find out where the deck clips. I am running it at 3/4 volume now so everything should be fine. The 700/5 is at about 1/8 gain on the front and rear channels and 1/4 on the sub channel. The 300/1 is a little over 1/4.

All of the sound hits you from the front of the truck so the imaging is almost perfect. The HushMat makes a huge difference in controlling the indoor and outdoor sound. Also, I hardly have any rattles. The rattles that do exist are nearly overpowered by the bass tone that causes them. Can't wait to get a layer or two of damping on the doors.

I'll update moving forward if anything changes.

I was mistaken. They sound better on 12db and that is where I have them set.

Thanks. It looks a lot better in person to be honest. We were flying through it so I didn't get a ton of pics.

Last update for now: It's being tuned on Wednesday. I am moving the distribution block tomorrow. I've also decided to drill through the notch from the inside of the box and anchor them to the cross member. The speaker connections are on the bottom right and left side of the boxes and can be accessed from underneath without having to remove them. It is nice that the floorboard isn't completely flat near the back of the wall on each side of the cab. It leaves just enough room to reach under and unscrew the wires.
