This is my first post, but I noticed that you can't find a decent priced, if at all, custom enclosure for 2nd Gen DC's.

I am actually in the process of building a custom enclosure like the one in the picture posted. I should start on it in the next day or two and have it done by Wednesday.

It will be made for a 10" Shallow Mount (3.25" Depth) and have .6 cubic feet of air, give or take.

I will post pictures through out the process and if you would be interested in one, feel free to shoot me a message.

I saw those, and I wasn't particularly fond of removing the compartments and the one with MTX is on the 40% side and does not have a place for your amp.

It could just be me and my likings I suppose. :notsure:

You can easily duplicate the JL stealthbox. I have seen a couple done now. I don't justify their price at all for what you get. Looking forward to seeing pics!

It seems easy enough to duplicate. Only thing is mine will be 1/2" MDF versus their fiberglass. I will post pictures within the next day. :D

You can do close to the same thing with a Supercrewsounds double sub box by cutting off one of the sub boxes and leaving the one box and the amp rack. That then fits into the 60 side behind the seats. I did this with mine, and you then get 5.5-6" mount depth, depending on if you buy the 6" option. You can then trim the OEM storage box to fit around the SCS box and it then has a finished look. I bought the SCS box for $140 shipped, sold the cut off 40 side for $40, then had a bit of cost to clean up the 60 side and glue some carpet on the cut end.

Sorry guys, I got so busy with work and school I forgot to post pictures.

I did my build in sort of a hurry and didn't get to take too many pictures but it didn't come out too bad.
