Im trying to install an FM modulator for my iPod into the radio. I have everything done except for hooking up the power. I am not sure what the best 12v power source to tap into is. Where and what color wire should I look for?

    Thanks!

if ur looking for the best power source, i'd run a line straight to the battery. there's a group of cables leaving the firewall in front of the drivers position. run it through w/ it. and what kind of fm modulator are u hooking up that requires a dedicated 12v line vs. a cig adaptor or batteries??

its an audiovox mod that bypasses the fm antenna and plugs directly into the back of the stereo. I ran the power straight to the battery and it works perfectly. Thanks!
