I have the Kenwood DNX 8120 along with Memphis speakers and the hybred Memphis amp. The system has been fine but today after jamming it cut out on me and the sound stopped. I had no sound coming out. Everything was powered on but no sound. I had to put the system in stand by and then back on and it worked. Jammed again for about 30 secs and the same thing happened. I ll be taking it back to the installer tomorrow but I was just wondering.. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!!!

maybe the amp is getting hot and going into protection mode and shutting down. Installer could have also wired the speakers wrong and putting too much a load on the amp. dunno...let us know what you find.

Check your ground wires/cables. Most amps will shut off if they can't draw current due to bad grounds.
