    My guess is that the OP bought the Tacoma used, and the previous owner dicked around with the wiring installing an after-market radio. When sold, the PO put the OEM radio back in, botching up the wiring.

    The OP attachment reveals a few wire insulation cuts and crimped wires.

    I'm up now and eatin my cereal haha. Give me 20 and I'll be out checking fuses. All the crimping was done by me. I have put in head units for a part time job and undertaand what I'm doig but this truck is being a real pain

    Now it's all working how do I remove the clock and hazards and face plate from the stock unit

    Thanks I just got it out. I'm gonna go get a second face plate from some where and cut it to fit around my new head unit so it looks nice
