Hello, I'm looking for a good CB Antenna mount for the bed of my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. It's the last part I need to complete my CB project that I've been working on since the start of last month.

As of now this is everything that a have:
    • Cobra 19 Ultra III CB Radio
    • 4' Firestik Firefly
    • SWR Meter w/ a 3' jumper coax
    • And finally, an 18' UHF coaxial cable

Please tell me if you have mounted an antenna in your Tacoma before along with what you used to do it!

    Thank You Very Much,
    asianfromthecongo

    P.S.
Pictures, if possible, would be amazing!

That's amazing! My truck's bed looks nearly identical to what I can see in your picture.

If you don't mind; could you please tell me what your SWR and range look like with that set up?

    Thanks again,

Don't know what it was, I didn't have a SWR meter back then. It worked very well, however. I was able to clearly communicate with all the other rigs when on an off-road run.

I currently have a fiber-glass tonneau cover, so I had to completely re-do the mount. The antenna is now attached to a carefully-drilled hole in the fiber glass in roughly the same location.
