Mistake #1 was buying a used 2013 touchscreen radio to upgrade my 2012 Tacoma without researching it enough in this forum. The result is I have a very nice 2013 touchscreen (non JBL or Entune) without the collar to hold the hazard switch/clock. #%$ #@&% $$.

Trying to dig out from this mess. Does anyone know if the Metra 95-8235B dash kit will work with the OEM touchscreen? Better yet, anyone know of a source for this part? It seems that Toyota does not make this part available through their parts network.

At least 15 hours on the internet with no luck and I find the part at a salvage yard 15 minutes from my home for $10. Go figure ...

I have the microphone (PT546-74120-MC) and the antenna adapter, I'm not sure if I need the 28-20 pin adapter (PT546-00120-CH) for my application. DO I need this for my 2012 truck that does NOT HAVE steering wheel controls? Is this adapted necessary to connect the microphone?
