There's no aux port, so I've been using an FM transmitter that just plugs into the cigarette lighter. The only thing is that there's a lot of static and interference. I've tried different frequencies and nothing really changes. How can I plug an aux cable directly to the stereo?

I use one of those too. I recently picked up a USB blutooth adapter, so I have a dual USB charger for 12V plug, plug the USB Blutooth to it, AUX cable from USASPEC into blutooth and BAM, phone can stay in pocket. was easier than Plugging into phone. I got one of these, it has an AUX cable hole in end you cant see

Shit, kids these days have it easy. I remember using an FM transmitter that plugged into my mp3 player.

The tape part is what we used to use before the CD was invented

Yeah, CD's came out when I was a junior. You'd need a 110 outlet and RCA's to run them in a car, and even then they'd skip at every bump.

Man... how many hours did I spend extracting broken tape from my car stereo...

My folks bought a Chevy Spectrum around 1986 with no radio at all. I had a cigarette adapter and boom box.

Added a usb Bluetooth adapter and plug my usa spec into it. Without the adapter the sound level sucked, with it the volume is perfect. The sound is great and Pandora from my phone is wireless.

My USA Spec is the same volume as the radio

Mine has always been very low volume even with the stereo maxed and back when i used an iPod and it was cranked as high as possible. Tried it with my galaxy s5 and it was still low. Put the adapter on and it's back to the standard volume. Don't know why but I'm very happy.
