Question about Dash Camera

Hey TW,

After living in Puerto Rico for the past six months, I have decided to buy a dash camera. The amount of wrecks here is absurd and I'm trying to avoid anyone blaming me.

I found this unit on ebay and I've looked up the specs and it seems pretty legit. Anybody else care to weigh in. I really know nothing about these things.

*edit to add- This ebay listing is about $100 less than the exact same unit at Amazon, bestbuy, ect.

Also, I've never purchased from ebay, is this posting legit? (ie trouble free, I pay, they send me the product).

It looks liike a really neat camera. I have been researching dash-cameras for a few months. The features that this camera offers seem to be really advanced. In my opinion, I would have to do more research on the make and others like it. I did not see any feedback on the selling page, which makes me very cautious and leads me to believe that it may be a fraudulent page....maybe.

 

Like I said, I've never used ebay. Is fake pages really a thing? Damn, I really like this unit, especially how small it is. Not trying to clutter up the Tacoma's already narrow window.

I haven't found another as small for the price (even at full retail of 200 bucks). There are others but they have a screen which seems pointless to me.

 

Yeah, it is definately odd. Member since 2013 with no sales and one purchase.
However, paying with PayPal does provide a layer of protection if the item doesn't get delivered or if it is not as advertised. Granted it wouldn't be immediate and would require you to file the claim.

 

I noticed that as well... ugh I guess I'll pay retail.
