    A friend of mine swears by the Alpine SWR T12 probably half the price of the JL, but it's all preference really. As long as you buy whatever at an authorized shop that way if something happens they will replace it. IMO as long as whatever sub you go with is properly tuned, with the right size box/ported and air space and correct amp you will be happy with the it.

    Allot of truths here....
    As for me, i only have the Triton 12s and 8s available right now.
    2 x 8s ported sounds really nice
    Zman2k2 has 2 of the 12s sealed and sounds amazing as well

    In the end, its based on what you like, how much space you want to sacrifice etc

    I've worked with the JL TW line subs quite a bit. They always turned out pretty impressive. Tight, powerful bass that can get very low. Also very efficient. Not what you'd typically expect from a shallow mount woofer.
