Recently just upgraded tablets, throwing the idea around of mounting the old tablet in the truck. Use it for Navi or music or both.... post up your pics of what you have in the cab!

We only have 1 so it would spend maybe 10% of its life actually mounted, but on road trips and stuff i would like to have it right there. Ive seen the Tech deck.... but I really want to have it hover somewhere over the shiftier. But i want it stable! Maybe I just need to Invent the solution and share...

Depending on your tablet get the ram mount. I have ram mounts for my iPads and they work great. I ran one for years in my Dodge but stopped using it since I went for the nav in the Tacoma. I still run one in my Z3 with the cup holder mount.

for offroad nav I keep an of tablet in the truck full-time. USB gps puck sits on the dash when in use. I recently picked up a USB camera to act as a rock cam but haven't gotten around to putting it in.

I use my go pro suction mount on the windshield and it works great. Just leaves a little circle that you can wipe off.

I eventually did this... never posted. Found a mount for the first Gen that bolted into the radio mount. Then bolted the ram mount to that. Works great!
