i had a box with 3 10's, had a custom box made by my buddy for $100 that sat on the drivers side rear bench, went about halfway across but it also went over the seat and sat on the floor too, have the same thing for my single 15". if you're looking to just make it sound better, do 10's but if you really want some easy, cheap power then do a single 15" with a decent amp and you'll be set

it depends alot on the subs too.
1 JL 10W6V2 will sound better than a pair of a lesser subs. It may not be as "loud" but the SQL will be much better and it will pound plenty for an access cab. you can always do the Xtreme Kreations door panels in the rear doors for 2 10s Justin |

The xtreme creations panels are the best bet for high end systems. Here is the link http://www.xtremekreations.com/fabrication.html. There are also a couple boxes here http://www.soundoffaudio.com/items.c...EXTENDED%20CAB. Personally I chose to go with my own custom box behind the passengers seat. There are pictures in my profile.

I'd go with this setup here, with a high quality 10" sub. I had a pair of 12"s in a bandpass box behind my seat with a couple amps. My setup hit hard and turned on more car alarms than my exhaust. The rear seats were down and the box was on top of them. I took it all out and am saving up for the center sub box pictured above, since I would like to use my access cab for occasional passengers and for cargo room. So, it all depends on what you want. If you want just a clean tight sound I say go with the center console sub, or with 8"s on the side doors, but if you want to be heard blocks away then you can put the rear seats down and find a large box and blast some 12's or 15's from it. My rec is go with the setup above with the center console sub box.
