2008 speaker wire colors

Hey everyone, im gonna be installing some new speakers this weekend and wanted to double check on this. Did some searching and found the wiring diagram for a 2007, mine is a 2008 DC and was wondering if it was the same.

LF (+) pink
LF (-) violet
RF (+) blue
RF (-) light green
LR (+) black
LR (-) yellow
RR (+) red
RR (-) white

 

Just wanted to say that the diagram listed above appears to be true for my 2010 access cab Tacoma with base stereo. I tapped into the rear speaker wires at the head unit and added rear speakers to the access doors. I got the speakers from *********. MDF plate matched up to the holes, but I needed nuts and washers as there were not threaded holes to mount to. Still not sure what to do about the lack of an opening in the door panel, for now I just cut a hole, but will probably try and apply speaker fabric over the hole.

 

Sorry to bump the old thread. I am currently upgrading the speakers on my 07 taco and fund a diagram and some notes from internet. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. Here is what they look like:

LF(+): Pink (P)
LR(-): Violet (V)
RF(+): Light Green (LG)
RF(-): Blue (L)
LR(+): Black (B)
LR(-): Yellow (Y)
RR(+): Red (R)
RR(-): White (W)

Tweeters are having the same color wires as the corresponding door speakers.

 

Has anyone confirmed the info above? did it change between 2010 - 2012?

 

Here is the correct info.....

Front Left = Pink (+) & Purple (-)
Front Right = Green (+) & Blue (-)
Rear Left = Red (+) & White (-)
Rear Right = Red (+) & White (-)

BTW....this is what worked for me in my 2013. I did some research and then tested to make sure it was correct!
