Does anyone have pictures of where they put a nav system like this: I was thinking the space in back of the two front cupholders.

I have the Nuvi 200. It is awesome! I just mount it to the windshield with the supplied mount or I use the optional bean bag mount if I am traveling to Minnesota or some other state that does not allow items stuck to the windshield. I thought about doing something like you are suiggesting but I got to thinking that it is probably not very safe. It needs to be close to eye level so you can keep your eyes on the road...

As of right now mine is not hard wired. As soon as I get a hand held unit that i can input grid coordinates and use both to get real good and accurate info, then I'll hard wire them in somehow?

Janster, I have a Nuvi 700-something. I am really interested in your mount. If you can find any info on it, please let me know. Thanks!
