aftermarket stereo and xm radio

hey guys and gals, i was wondering if it was possible to get xm radio to work with an aftermarket head unit, sony cd-gtx820ip (i think) its HD radio and satellite ready, what reciever would i need to buy and what wires do i need to hook up?
