    I just got my Sirius Pro Install Kit for my Starmate 5. It has the 5V or 12V option. I heard that I need to run the 5V wire for power but does anybody know for sure? Thanks alot!

    All stock, except for audio and convenience add-ons
    So is my XM Xpress... but the power adapter that plugs into the cig socket has the transformer built into it that takes it to 5v. You can hardwire a socket into the car's 12v somewhere and then plug in the regular Starmate power adapter... then hide it all.
