When I installed my security/rs system a couple months ago I ran the second negative trigger wire, typically used for trunks, into the drivers door sill for future use for my bicycle alarm. I finally got around to completing this. It uses a tilt switch connected to a cable that runs into the bed via the center drainage hole. Then I can run a bungee cord or thin cord or wire from a bike, from the bike locking cable, or from anything else I want to protect to this new alarm cable where it comes out of the drainage hole. Any tugging on this sets off the alarm. The tilt switch also functions as a full veicle tilt switch for towing, jacking, etc. Not perfect security for leaving a bike for long periods in sketchy isolated areas since the lock cable goes to d-dings held on with bolts, but it expands the situations where I feel comfortable leaving my bike unattended.
Here are some pics.
First, the blue second trigger wire. I extended this wire and ran it through a rubber body plug under the seat.

How it moves.
Completed device. Rubber band is for helping gravity return the switch home after it is tripped. I ended up not using the single black wire to connect to the actuating cable. I just attached the actuating cable directly to the tilt switch... shown in a later picture.

Cable from underneath.
Final install on body crossmember.
