Steering Wheel Control Add-on

I know this has been discussed many times in the past, but I haven't found anyone that has done it successfully and just came across this on ebay.

2005+ OEM Steering Wheel Controls

Does anyone know if this could be added to an 09 Prerunner? I bought the truck the day before I deployed so I haven't gotten a chance to take it apart and look at what connections or wires are already run to the steering wheel.

I just purchased an aftermarket headunit with an adapter for the steering wheel controls so I was hoping to add them.

 

the adapter will only work if the factory wiring is there and at the radio,

 

I assumed that, I guess I was more or less asking if anyone knew whether the 09 Prerunner's had the factory wiring for the controls. I don't have the ability to get to my truck right now to check it.
