Capacitor Question

    If I'm running a RF P500-1 for 2 RF 10s and a RF P400-4 amp for my in door speakers and want to put a capacitor on the system, would I only need one between the battery and the power distribution block, or would I need one for each amp between the block and each amp? Also, I'm trying to decide between the 1 Farad and 2 Farad RF capacitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    you are supposed to use one fared for every 1000 watts, so you would probably only need one, unless I am mistaken and you actually have more than 1000 watts.

    What you want to do is wire it up between your amps and the battery to cause minimal strain on the battery and electrical system when the amplifiers start drawing amps.

    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    1 Farad is more than enough. It should be installed between the battery and the distrobution + distrobution block. The other side of the block won't hurt anything, just limits its usefullness.
