Stock Radio cutting out XM

    Not sure this is the right place to post...

    Anyway, have an 09 Tacoma TRD Off Road.

    Didn't come with the better radio, so I had the dealer add the XM module. Every once in a while when driving the XM will just cut out, you can see the song title on the display, but no music.

    The only way to get it back is to turn the car off and turn it back on, then it seems to work again.

    Brought it back to the dealer to have them take a look, they found no issues.

    Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

    no, just the XM. I can switch to CD, Radio, AUX...all that works.

    MIne just started doing this yesterday, I was using the steering wheel controls which I never use. Going from one station to the next would make it do this. I was able to duplicate the problem, it only does it with the steering wheel control. I'll be stopping by the dealer this week.

    Let me know what the dealer says....curious.

    Been to the dealer 3 times already, truck is only 2 months old. Tired of dealing with those morons.
