Kicker 10in L5s or 12in shallow subs????

    2019 TRD OR, VF Tuned, URD Power Extractors, U-spec exhaust, Meso stuff
    I currently have 2 kicker L5 10s in my double cab sub box being pushed by a kenwood mono 1800w amp. I am considering switching to 2 shallow mount 12 in subs(not sure about brand yet) but not sure which will sound better and hit harder. Never heard any shallow mount subs in person. Need some input on this.

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    i didn't think those l5's would fit. Those put out a lot of bang. ever considered l7's?

    I originally got the L7s but they didnt fit. Just had to chip out the back of the box a little to make the L5s fit.

    Thanks dude! I was always thinking about going for L7's. I thought they would fit according to the looks of this. I never did the actual measurement. Do either of you know how many inches deep is the place where we can hold the speakers?

    I would like to do a single 10 inch l5...how do they sound with that little amount of room
