Are Rear Speakers just fill??

    I am asking because I still have my stock HU and stock front speakers (Double Cab) I replaced the rears and not the fronts (later tonight) and I hear no difference... If I fade the rears they handle a whole lot more power then the stock ones did...

    BTW, I heard the stock speakers were cheap but had no idea how cheap until today...

    So is this just the way rear speakers work...

    I should be getting a HU in the next week or two...

    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    They are not a discrete signal. So, they are not a rear channel like in a x.1 setup for a home theater. They are fill, but they are a full range set of channels just like the fronts but a copy of that signal.
