Well I finally finished it. I had 10 gauge wire the entire time but I couldnt fine eyelets to fit it. I finally found some at autozone so I ended up using 10 gauge to ground. One question though, can my ground eyelet be between the nut and the mount instead of the screw head and mount?

    Wannabe Illustration:

    Screw Head
    Antenna Mounting Surface
Eyelet (For Ground which leads to chasis)
    Screw Nut

So...in other words, the head of the screw is the only thing above the mount. Below the mount are the Eyelet for Ground and then the Nut (In that order)

Will that still be fine? I dont know if the eyelet has to be on top of the mount, sandwhiched btw the mount and screw head.

EDIT: Jeaz this thing messed up my drawing. Sorry

Hey Brian. Thanks for the info. Why did you sand it though? Was it painted? My Mount is bare metal as are the eyelets and all hardware
