Anyone have pics of satellite antenna through brakelight?

    Trying to do this without drilling. For those that did this, did you take the entire 3rd break light assembly off in order to run the wire down into the truck and under the headliner?

    mine has something up there where yall are mounting yours it looks like a factory sat. radio but i dont have sat. wonder what it is?

    That is how i ran it on my F-150.

    When i had my 09 Tacoma i just sit it in the far right cover on top of the dashboard and it worked GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Did this initially but it would cut out from time time for no apparent reason, nothing else obstructing its signal (ie. Trees, overpasses, etc.). Maybe its just the area i'm in. Working great now that its on the roof.

    Radio On Mod, Complete new stereo with 10" subs, Truxedo bed cover, GT-MAT through doors and rear cab.
    I ran a sat wire like this on my wife's Sienna and it leaked a year later. Took weeks to figure it out as it leaked on the inside of the windshield and only when coming out of the car wash. Turned out the blow dryer was pushing water in and it was running forward on the headliner. I was luck not to get any mold out of that.

    I was able to use this existing Sat wire from the stock unit when I upgraded to a different HU. It looks ugly, but works great with no risk of leaks.
