Added Auxiliary Power Outlet

I needed an extra power outlet, so I tapped into an extra line found under the cup holder. The cup holder removes by lifting straight up. I cut the Blue Wire with a Black stripe (this goes to the rear AC 400 Watt plug, I have an SR5 = no plug). I added a standard female 12v plug to the wire and grounded to an exposed piece of metal. Hope this helps someone.

Using this connection is the power outlet hot all the time or only with the key in the acc or on positions?

Nope, it only works when the key is switched to ON. If you know a way to change this, let me know...

I did this mod and I wondered whether the one you did would provide a constant on outlet. Thanks for the info.
