ok, i'm leaning towards Image Dynamics CTX65cs for my front speakers.

Question though... Will they be an improvement over stock even if they are not amped?

Will they supply more of a bass sound than the stock speakers?

    Thanks.

They will be a HUGE improvement. will the "bass" be all that much better? Probably not alot. Understand, certain drivers are designed for a few purposes. the midbass will be good out of the CTX but the lower/subbass wont be there...thats where a subwoofer comes in to the mix.

Hey guys, whats the difference between the ctx65 and the ctx65cs? Is is that the ctx65cs has the tweeter separate and the ctx65 is all in one? (Audio idiot here!)

The CTX is a coax and the CTXcs is the CTX component system.

Thanx (sorry to highjack the thread). I think I'm going to go with the ctx65cs in the front and the ctx65's in the back. Just planning on changing the speakers. No sub and stock hu. Hopefully it will sound better then stock
