Ordered this from Crutchfield. Came with the Metra dash kit and wiring harness. HU sounds really good and is very intuitive to use. Metra dash kit fit & function are very good and color is spot on match to the AC switch plate.

Alpine PDX Amps, Alpine HU, JL Evolution Speakers (front and rears...), JL 13TW5 Sub (fiberglass boxes ...) . Door speakers fit in stock space so there hidden which is great, and if i hide the head unit no one can tell theres a system, just had to make some holes for tweeters in the back.
The setup isn't as 'loud' as my old trucks setup but the clarity and SQ is just rad.

Anyone have any pics of a Regular Cab sub set up? Im thinking about adding a 10". I already have Rockford power series 6.5 comp in the doors w\ factory tweeter and head unit. I already have a headunit in mind, but just not sure about a sub for a Reg. cab. 05 Pre-runner.

How do you like this system? Was it fairly easy to install?

I'm considering that model for my upgrade, I've got it narrowed down to that one, one from sony (model# XAV-70BT) or possibly one of the multimedia receivers by Kenwood.

    Your input would help, thanks!

I want that deck. How do you like the interface? I've read mixed reviews of it.

The one thing I have against aftermarket DVD/Nav headunits is the lack of buttons.

I had a flip-up monitor in my last truck (it was a Kenwood Excelon KVT-819DVD), and it worked great, but it was a pain in the butt to change stations. At least with physical buttons, you can just "feel" your way to a new station, but with a touch-screen interface, it requires you divert your attention away from the road to change channels.

While elegant, I wish manufacturers would step away from Touchscreen interfaces, and add a few more physical buttons for radio presets...

Or at least a knob to toggle between them all!

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
4 hifonics 12s with a crappy hitron 1200 watt amp. i built the box tuned to about 35 hz and around 9.5^3ft after displacement. panasonic cq-vw100u double din with ipod video and music cable. also put in a digital voltmeter in the 12v accessory outlet

I love this system! It is very user friendly, the button layout on the screen is easy touch and use. I have a whole thread demonstrating the W900, I have pictures.
