I think that's the same kit that allows you to still use the controls on the steering wheel with an aftermarker HU isn't it?

My 08 lights up with my Kenwood HU. Works no problem with the previously mentioned adapter.

Edit: My OEM was not a JBL either.

My 07 controls with a pioneer Z110BT and the PAC SWI-PS adapter lit up.

Hard to capture with my cell camera; they look brighter in person.

when i installed my pioneer avic f90bt i lost my steering wheel controls as well. some aftermarket HU retain the steering wheel control feature, pioneer does not. i bought the aftermarket unit to install beacause i changed out my steering wheel control leds to match my dash.

I have an 08 with the JBL and my steering wheel lights did light up. That is before I put the AVIC-Z1 in it. I am hoping they light back up when I put the PAC device in. It is also has the sport package on it. Think that makes a difference?
