Just wondering if anyone has the Kenwood DNX8120 and a Blackberry Bold from AT&T. I think the model is the 9000. My bluetooth sucks and has a real bad echo. I have tried my wifes iPhone and it works fine. Any thoughts? I checked the Kenwood website for a firmware update but I have the most recent one.

I don't have experience with Blackberry's but my I would think that trying to play with your bluetooth setting on your phone may help, check and see if the bluetooth output is set to A2DP. It may be only playing in mono (one channel) and your HU is maybe compensating for the non-stereo input and adding that weird echo somehow. This is only my assumption.

Also check to see if your blackberry OS is 4.2 or newer. More info here --->>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile
