cant get a open channel for xm reception
anybody have a problem getting a open channel on there oem radio in there 2008 taco for good xm reception? have a roady 2 and all the frequencies that you have to tune to on the factory radio have bad noise destortion .i know get a new head unit

What setup are you using?
XM is satellite...... Sounds like you'e using FM modulation for some reason. I'm confused.... Need more info!

I know your not gonna like this answer, but get it hard wired. It makes a HUGE difference. You can get a DF TOY and have your MP3 and Sat radio hooked up.

Zonks is right. Get rid of the FM mod. Get a DF-Toy, Metra, or some other hard wired solution. They are easy to install and the sound quality is much better. There are threads devoted solely to these devices on this forum.
