I have the Cobra 29 ltd. Do you have the cb? If there is a in line fuse on the back of the CB then all you gotta do is run 1 wire to the battery, and 1 to a ground. Then you'll have to get an antenna and run the coax from the antenna to the CB. Pretty simple, there is some good stuff on this site if you search around.

The antenna length I am pretty sure is just whatever floats your boat. The tuning is something you have to do once you hook up the antenna to your CB unit, just like tuning a radio pretty much.

you can get cb shops to tune your antennas but you have to buy antennas with adjustable ends on them

Tuning for a CB Radio.

Just a little info on tuning a CB radio. Once you decide on the radio, the mounting location and the location of your antenna you will need to measure the SWR or standing wave ratio. This is done with an SWR meter. There is a lot of really good information on the Firestik website that will help determine the length of antenna, mounting location and SWR measurements.
