hmm interesting. for 12 bucks like you said maybe give it a shot.
but i think your best bet for noise would be a bigger speaker.
    then you'd def. be louder!

yeah, i'd lke the bigger speaker, but then space becomes an issue. i have way too much crap under my hood already with the air compressor and other stuff.

haha, i know. if someone comes on and can vouch for it, i'll go ahead...if not, i'm gonna finish saving up for the parts i need to complete my lift. (running a little nose high right now)

the listing isnt there anymore and i forgot to look when this was posted but, I bought a sub amp from kicker for $10 and its crap and doesnt work. If its the same one you have, what happened is, its an OEM Sub amp for the Chrysler 300 and when people didn't need them, kicker was like.....shit what now? so they sell em for dirt cheap. Problem is they send literally just the amp with a bundle of wires and heat shrink around em. no harness, no wiring diagram. also the amp turns on when there is "audio" going to it, its some weird auto power so its just a waste, i have yet to figure out how to make it work. however if its not the same amp that i got then ijust wasted ALL of our time haha.

I first had a midland cb ($50 at radioshack) and a 25watt indoor/outdoor speaker and the stainless 102" whip but that was on my s10, my taco i have a cobra 40 i think? around $25 for it, and the same speaker and a 4' firestik. The speaker is loud to bystanders but to vehicles its almost useless unless they are stationary with no radio playing haha

    Look at build!

I have a midland 1001z in the ash tray spot (1st gen) and a small PA speaker in my wheel well. and it works good for what it is, and i only have about 50 bucks in the whole setup including coax and antennas etc.

bought the CB and PA speaker from a CB shop at a local flea market, but the coax i got at a truck stop cause it was cheaper. The antennas i have had for a long time i believe i found them in my shop, and the antenna mount came off an old hillbilly ass chevy out of a junkyard:D

My neck of the woods is not big on wheelin so I had to get all my shit online at radio shack but my newer stuff is all from Amazon, highly recommended, but if you have a truck stop or CB shop around you then deff go there.
