    it depends on what you listen to, imo. someone with the Boss slim sub set-up listens to rock and such, which i don't think will push that much bass into your sub as underground music would.

    I listen to just about everything from oldies to rap. So I just want a good all around sub, and a amp that would decently push it. I don't want it to be overwhelming at all.

    I would do a 300/400w sub and mono block amp. the mono block should be enough to fit under the seat, and the sub hits pretty good, imo.
