I'm looking at a 2010 TRD with Sport Pkg.....What are everyone's thoughts about the JBL system? I really want the bluetooth and the dealership says they can install that. Just wondering if it's worth it for the stereo sound as well as bluetooth?

How old are you? If you're under 30 you may be disappointed. If you're 30 and over you'll be satisfied and accept that it is worth it. Me personally it is sufficient and it is way better than the premium system that came in my '08 Accord EX-L. Also, the bluetooth phone setup works really well.

Lol, I'm actually 29, but I absolutely love it. I'll be 30 this year though, so maybe thats why.

All jokes aside, the JBL sounds great. Mine came from the factory with the bluetooth (built into sterring wheel controls). I have yet to hook it up, but the next free weekend I have I'll sync it w/ my phone. I say go for it.

I'm 28 actually and have a '07 Accord EX-L and am pretty satisfied with that sound system....so if it's as good or better than that I would be content. The dealer here doesn't have any sports with the JBL pkg so I might talk to them about finding one or possibly ordering one.
    Thanks for the input

Just be mindful, which you may already know, but when you purchase a Access or Double Cab Taco, the JBL sound system causes you to lose your middle seat (Not as big of a deal in the access), I decided I wanted my middle seat, so I opted out, but still had to wait about 45 to 60 days for a 6spd DC. :)

I have the JBL in my sport dbl cab and I love it. It bumps actually more than I like but it cranks. Just do the factory system. The only real bummer is that the sat display does not read complete on the screen and if you want your Ipod to read on the display then you need the ipod cable. I am told that the cable is not totally compatible with the sattelite however. Go with factory. The speakers crank out enough bass to make you think you are at a rock concert. It's great.

Im 37 and it was not worth it in my 09 sport, in my opinion sounded terrible for the xtra money spent. It was gutted by the 3rd week and installed all new equipment.Just my opinion.

I don't know how the system was in the '07 Accords were but mine had an 8 inch sub in the rear deck and it was nowhere near the sound quality of the JBL setup.

See, I believe you're an exception to the rule. Most people who get into their thirties are satisfied with the upgraded OEM systems and have already been through the "high end sound system" upgrade phase.

Personally for me I might change out the door speakers but other than that I am completely satisfied. Plus, I have heard that the stock base radio is really terrible so if I ended up with that setup I would definitely be more inclined to go higher end. Of course it's not as nice anymore considering everything I hear is in mono so it's hard to justify an upgrade.

Actually, there have been many threads on this and it has been proven scientifically that the JBL setup is sufficient for the 30 and over crowd. I even think they ran a Mythbusters episode on it.

Is the non-JBL a lot worse than the JBL system?

I went by the dealership today to check out the difference in sound.......JBL sounded good enough to me so I'm going to hold out for a sport with JBL. Downside is that there are none to be found in the southeast. My local dealer didn't seem to eager to order one so I might have to look elsewhere.

You don't lose the "middle seat" on the double cab. The sub is hidden behind the rear passenger seat. The access cab is the one that gets the gaudy, "alien busting out of the back wall" sub.
