Recommend a H/U with removable faceplate

Looking to upgrade the factory sound system in my 05 Taco. Dont want a DVD player, just a Double DIN CD / MP3 payer with a removable faceplate.

Almost bought the Clarion CX609, but want to make an attempt to find something with a removable faceplate.

Here are a couple features that are important to me:
1 - Doubel DIN, for asthetic purposes
2 - Amber / red lighting to match factory interior.

Rest everything can be worked out

I have not been able to find one that fits the criteria, but if you have a doubel DIN you like, pls post what it is. Otherwise i may just go with the CX609.

 

Good question, I really want one of these too, i've yet to find a double din with a removable face plate, but I haven't looked too hard.

Im sure someone must make one but i couldn,t find it either. Its hard to find one that has the red or amber light to match the stock dash also...I ended going with a Alpine single din with new faceplate, plus it worked out great because now i have that cubby hole under the hu that i keep my nav unit and Ipod in..Good luck in finding one

 

i saw a couple of JVC units that were double din removable face plate. not sure i would want to lug around a double din face plate. my single fits ok in my pocket, a double, not so much.
