I've search the forum and found a couple of threads about subwoofer installation in 2ND Generation Regular Cab Tacomas, but there are almost no pictures of different setups, I've only managed to find three.

If you have a sub on your 2nd Gen Reg. Cab Tacoma please share a picture of your setup here. I'm trying to gather different ideas to build a box for mine.

    Thanks!

u can see how the notch in the back is way to big...it was meant to fit around the child seat hooks in the double cab.

how it sat it the doublecab

Thanks for the sharing the pics, you mentioned on the PMs that with that box you can have the seat all the way back, that is my biggest concern and I'm trying to find how deep I can make the box without limiting the seat travel . Do you have the measurements for the bottom and top depth of the subwoofer box?

I was about to ask you about the handle, I noticed it would interfere with the sub, so I can't go wider than 15" in width due to the handle and the jack mount. I'm wondering how deep I can go in the base and on the top. I'm trying to get a little more volume from the box.

Im hoping to get the final measurements this week, maybe have the box built this weekend by a local shop.

btw my drawing is wrong, volume is about .37, Im trying to get it to be around .40-.42 for a 10" shallow mount pioneer sub, but I'm still playing around with ideas because the sub might hit the notch on the back of the box.

the only irritating thing to remove was the jack mount i should have just cut it with something instead i hit it and pulled on it with pliers and pushed it until it was out
