Sirius/XM Radio...

Is this free.

I bought my truck new last year (2/09) and until now i still have my SiriusXm radio.

Dealer told me i only have 90 days free. Is this correct.

it should have been turned off by now, but your truck may have been off when they sent out the signal to zap it.

 

Mine still going and I got it in 7/09, but I never hardly use it anyway.

 

Mine is still working even after 3 months. I think they send a signal to lock your radio, but I still get 0, 1 and 247 after 3 months.

 

I get 0, 1, and 247 but then it flashes antenna.
On 1 it flashes the radio ID first.
Never had XM turned on.
Should I be getting anything on those stations?

 

If you call Sirius before your trial expires and say "I want the $79 deal" you will get a whole year for just that. Otherwise it will cost you about $185 a year. I found this "code" out by searching the web. Sirius will give you this $100 off if you phrase it just like I said you should.

 

I just ordered XM Radio. It cost me almost $200 for the subscription, the activation, and RIAA tax. I did my order over the website. I wish that I would've checked the forums to find these deals. I guess the key is to call in and not order the subscription on their website.

 

You will receive these channels without a subscription, they are meant to be promotional or for finding your receiver SID when you want to activate it, so you don't have to dig up the number on the receiver label which is probably buried deep somewhere in your vehicle. With a subscription you get the other 100+ channels.

 

I had XM installed and got the year subscription for $77 + tax. My understanding was this special offer was only for XM. If you want Sirius you paid the full price. I have Sirius in my car and could not work a deal.
