I have the standard OEM Single disc stereo in my truck. Thinking about buying an OEM six disc stereo form a friend who is upgrading to an after market system. Both trucks are 2007 Tacoma Double cabs. My question is will the six disc plug in without a problem. Its Not the JBL system but dose have steering wheel controls.

    Thanks!! Stan

I don't think you fully understood my question. I want to switch out one Head unit for the other. Both are Tacoma OEM radios. The only difference mine is a Single disc and his is a Six disc. I no the fit won't be an issue. My Question is when I plug in the wires will there be any issues? I am assuming the wiring harness is the same.

Thanks for your help.. Much Appreciated!!

Hey, may be is to late, but the tacoma JBL 6 CDs is not compatible with connectors of the SIGLE DISC, you need Amplifier and the harness, see you!

    FYI
The OEM six disc changer fit like a glove and the wires plugged right in... No Problems!! It was the easiest radio I've ever replaced.
