scosche dash kit for 98 tacoma

hey taco's, ive for a scosche dash kit for 98 tacoma with french instructions.
the fit seems a little weird for the dash. wondering if i have to cut some things or if someone has pics or advice how to install the kit..

You should not have to use the kit if you have a factory pocket under the head unit. I removed mine and took the two screws from the side of the radio and put my alpine right back in the same place. Never used a kit.
