I have a 08 Tacoma and I need some advise on ipod interface. There seems to be quite a few companies out there, any one install one? If so which one did you choose and why?

It will interface with both your head unit and the steering wheel controls, and it displays the artist/song on the head unit display.

I have a 2008 also and i looked at them all. I got a Peripheral and i think i ordered it
from crutchfield. I looked at all of them. The reason I got the one I have is because you still have full control over the ipod. some you don't. It came with a neat little bay
that i mounted on the side of the storage bay below the head unit. you hit the cd option twice and you select songs via the ipod. i always play it on shuffle, if i don't
like a song i just skip to the next one. you have to take out the head unit to install it. it is simple. there are some videos on youtube. it plugs into the back. it charges while the car is running also.

I put the USA Spec interface from crutchfield in my Tacoma. Super easy to install and it has an aux input for satelite radio. It works great.

We had an ipod interface installed on our '05 Tacoma, but now I have an '08 and instead of installing another interface, I was wondering if anyone has just used a deck from an '09 that already has the jack?
