Factory 6 Disc

I see a lot of posts covering installation of aftermarket head units. I'm new to the "mod" world but I love my Taco and need to make her the best she can be. With that being said does anyone know how or if you can install an aftermarket HU with the factory 6 disc changer or if I would have to put in a whole new one.

 

Do you want to chan ge the look of the dash or want to upgrade the stereo? If you want a change of look there are dash kits that go over the existing plastic. Have seen lots of pictures of folks with a new stereo/head unit, but not using the factory HU. Not sure if this helps.

 

I would like to replace with an aftermarket HU. I've seen all the info on the dash kits and all the builds but nobody has anything concerning the stock 6 disc. Also does anyone know what would need to be done to integrate the factory bluetooth system that is also there?
