I have a double cab and I was looking at the true shallow mount subs, never heard any of them play, so would know which one to pick. Thanks for the reply!!

I have a 13tw5 and the sound is pretty good considering. The best shallow mount 10" is going to be the Kicker CVT10 mounting depth is 4.25".

Why do you require such a shallow mount depth? I see ********* has a 5.8" 12" sub depth fitted into a double cab using a 3/4" MDF box. That implies you only need under a 6" mounting depth for a 12" and slightly more for a 10", not 5" for a 10" sub, which opens up your options considerably.

Because I already have a sub box that .75cf and has a hole cut for a 10" sub with a max 5" top mount depth. I was looking at a few subs , and was just wanting some input on the true shallow mount type subs, as far as sound quality was concerned. Like the polk mm series, I think RE audio , and memphis audio and mb quart, just to name a few make shallow mount subs. I just can`t find much in reviews on their sound quality. I was going to get 2 infinity kappa subs. But still looking!

If you want the ultimate sound quality shallow mount sub... Alto Mobile Falstaff 10". Good luck finding one though (and you'll pay if you do)!
