How do I remove the trim piece below the A/C vent?

I'm trying to remove the trim piece below the driver's right side A/C vent (see picture) where the 4x4 controls normally go in vehicles so equipped. I plan to mount m iPhone dock to the trim piece and need to modify it so the cable can penetrate through. I don't want to break the damn thing though, so I figured I'd ask if anyone knew the exact process.

Right now, I'm thinking I just need to pry it off from right below the A/C vent.

Also, does anyone know the part number for this part? I've looked through several diagrams, but I can't find this specific part or even a higher level part number that would include it.

I'm still looking for the part number for the part as I like to have a spare prior to drilling into any stock trim.

 

I do need to stop by the dealer anyway to get them to replace that damn little air shock on the glove box. Stupid thing doesn't work.

I just finished installing a Pioneer X910BT, which actually went very well thanks to information on this site. I still have to install my SWI-PS and my iPhone integration kit. Just waiting on parts now.

Ha! Timing is everything. Just so happens I'm looking to replace both of mine... previous owner had a cell phone mount in one and a sat radio tuner in the other so they have screw holes in them. Anyways, for my double cab the P/N's are 55524-04030 & 55524-04020. I don't know which is right & left but the P/N is stamped on the inside. My local Toyo dealer wanted $27.50 each! I said, "no thank you". Ordered both of them from toyotapartszone.com for $12.14 ea + shipping. Hope this helps.

55524-04020 is for the left panel and 55524-04030 is for the right. I'm glad that they can be bought for cheap too.
