Iphone stops playing

2003 SR5 double cab

Trying to figure out why my Iphone stops playing when I'm going up hills and the engine kicks into overdrive. My head unit is an aftermarket JVC, and the Iphone is connected via the USB port on the front of the headunit. If I unplug the phone from the head unit, and plug it back in it works again (unless I am still going uphill.) I've used different Iphones and different connection cables, but still same result.
