Ipod video problems w/ New H.U.

I'm having a problem watching video from my Ipod. I can here the audio from the video but no picture. When I select what I want to watch it loads for a second and then shows my the playlist menu again but I can here the audio. Any idea whats wrong?

Pioneer Z110BT.I connected the CD-IU50 (USB interface cable)

 

hmm i got a kenwood so prolly better asking someone with that model. but all i can suggest is checking the cable and mount on it, if its not that there may be something wrong with either part and that would be covered under warranty. but i would check with someone who has the same unit

 

is there a 1/8 in connector coming out of the side connected to the ipod? i know on a lot of ipod video connectors, the video doesnt go threw the actual ipod cable but threw its on seperate cable. my alpine w505 is like that. if the connection is loose or not connected i can still hear audio all day long but not video.

 

My JVC does the same thing, audio with out the video. I just have to press the display modes button till it gets to the correct mode and then the video pops up. Check yours for different display modes....just a guess don't know much about the pioneers.

 

All connections are good. I've even tried moving them to see but nothing.

 

I think you need to have the correct cable which is a CD IU50V - do you just have the model without the "V"? The end of the cable which attaches to the Nav Unit cable adapter should have a usb plug as as an auxiliary plug.

 

That little letter right there might be my problem. Will let you know.
