Just wanted to say I put my new bolt-on sliders w/kickouts on today (15 minutes total) and the fit is awesome. They were custom (angled) and powder coated and I am very happy with both choices. Sliders look great and I feel I made a great decision going with Avid. And I know, they are not "hardcore" being bolt-ons as this is my "pretty" truck. Their real purpose is to stop door hits while parked. Lol. I have no doubt they are made well though and could take some real abuse if I went with weld-ons. I will post some pics in the next couple days.

    Thanks again Brandon.

Sounds nice. Can you post some pics of how they bolt on and how they look from a few feet away.

I would also like to see some pics. BTW, I contacted Brandon at Avid Offroad to see if the bolt-ons could be welding on later and he informed me that Avid could send the weld-on legs along with the bolt on sliders. That way a weld shop could easily weld on the sliders at a later time.

That is great to know about being able to convert to weld-on later. As for the mounting, they simply attach to the stock running board mounts on the cab (not frame) so there isn't much to show. Installation literally took 20 minutes for both sides total. :)

So here are some pics of the actual running boards. They are the cleanest they have been in awhile so I took the opportunity. These have a slight "up" angle at my request as I like the look. They also have the kick out near the rear fender. Brandon had a local shop powder coat them for me with a textured black and I love it. I am very pleased with how it all turned out.
